Eichbaum was founded in 1679 in Mannheim, as a brewpub that soon became one of the largest and most efficient breweries in southwestern Germany. It is currently the oldest company in Mannheim, but also the most modern, benefiting of state-of-the-art beer production and bottling technologies. The quality of Eichbaum is reflected in the ingredients used, which are procured locally and tested in own laboratories. Eichbaum produces 16 brands of beer, a varied range that is the direct result of over 335 years of tradition and experience in brewing.
